These are not all of the books I read in 2017, but they are the only ones I recorded as having read. Additionally I only list books that I read completely, from start to finish. The rating is based on what I remember of the book at the time of writing this post, two years after reading them, and what I currently think about them, and does not reflect any other metric. It may be that if I were to read a particular book again that I would rate it higher or lower, or recall something about the book that I have forgotten that might affect their rating.

Five Stars are must reads. Four Stars are highly recommended. Three Stars are average or just above average. Two Stars are below average. One Stars are books that I finished but would never recommend. There are not many of those, as I typically do not finish that type of book.
